Have you ever gotten up on a Saturday before noon and think, “Score! Gonna get shit done today” but before you do anything you check your email and then next thing you know it’s close to 5 o’clock and you’re still in your pajamas? And you’re blaming Justin Bieber just for the sake of blaming someone other than your pathetic self.
…Yeah, me neither.
The good:
My laptop was resurrected a few days ago :)
I’m finally updating this poor little blog of mine. Even if nobody reads it, it’s out there. I am content with that.
It’s that time of year when I start thinking about getting my act together.. hopefully this time I mean it.
I recently realized my brother is my best friend.
The bad:
All my pictures were unable to be recovered when my laptop was fixed. It breaks my heart. I never uploaded pictures to myspace or facebook because I thought it was pointless. Now I wish I had since I didn’t back up my computer either. WHATANOOB.
Job hunting. Need I say more?
I guess what I’m getting at is, sooner or later I’ll walk strong. It’s just a bumpy road right now.

I love everything about this song.
My cousin called me this morning and like a little kid she said, “It’s snowing!”. Out of panic it’s all anyone in our little town could talk about (we had a pretty gnarly ice storm a few years back). Still, I jumped out of bed like it was a surprise and threw my sneakers on. I walked out the front door to see Melissa on her front porch and another neighbor on hers. We don’t have kids on our block but in that moment, the youth that faded with years was in splendor. In total awe of something that happens every year. I’m glad the ice passed us and it wasn’t as bad as everyone thought it would be.
The dogs are funny every year as well. They’re like little kids, too. They watch out the windows then run and play when it’s time to go out and then hurry in to warm up.
Driving in this was not smart. It was scary but we made it… Hope everyone is okay tonight.

Starting this book today. It’s been months since I last picked up a novel. I hate when I let things distract me from something I like so much. I read daily but I miss stories.
